Upholstery

In our in-house upholstery workshop, we deal with both classic upholstery work as well as modern upholstery. While modern upholstery requires the use of coconut or foamed material in addition to down bags or down cushions with a floating core, classic upholstery uses horsehair, jute and hemp belts, palm fibre, feathers and the like. This type of upholstery is mainly used when dealing with antiques and period furniture. In doing so, the work is done with traditional, and to some extent, century-old procedures. Today, for example, belt tensioners for upholstery are used in a similar fashion, as was the case 300 years ago. The quality of furniture processed in this manner, speaks for itself. In our upholstery workshop, all associated tasks such as sewing or ironing are carried out by our specially trained employees. According to the wishes of our customer, we can resort to the large variety of fabrics in our showroom for the purchase. We would also be happy to produce individual customer-made products.
